Ethics and Scope

A Clear Boundary Matters

Exposure intelligence sits at the intersection of privacy, security, and public information. Because of that, how the work is done matters as much as the outcome.

KazeTech operates within clearly defined ethical and legal boundaries. We strongly believe that clarity should never come at the expense of integrity.

What We Do

KazeTech provides Exposure Intelligence. Our services are analytical and advisory focused on understanding how an individual’s publicly available information can be identified, correlated, and interpreted by an external observer.

Our work is never anything but lawful, discreet, context-aware and human-led.

What We Do Not Do

To be explicit, KazeTech does not:

  • Access private systems, accounts, or databases

  • Bypass security controls or authentication

  • Impersonate individuals or organizations

  • Engage in deception, pretexting, or social engineering

  • Remove content, contact platforms, or perform takedowns

  • Sell or resell personal data

  • Conduct surveillance or tracking

  • Participate in illegal, unethical, or invasive activity

If a request falls outside these boundaries, we decline it.

Information Sources

All assessments are conducted using lawfully obtained, publicly available information, including but not limited to:

  • Open web sources

  • Public records

  • Public-facing profiles and platforms

  • Publicly accessible metadata and correlations

We do not rely on proprietary data broker feeds or gray-market sources.

Intent and Use

Our work is designed to:

  • Increase awareness

  • Reduce uncertainty

  • Support informed decision-making

It is not intended to:

  • Enable harassment

  • Facilitate targeting

  • Support retaliation or intimidation

  • Be used offensively against others

We reserve the right to decline engagements where intent or use is unclear or misaligned.

Client Discretion & Confidentiality

Discretion is foundational to our work.

  • We do not publish client names, details, or case studies

  • We do not reuse client findings for marketing

  • Engagement details are treated as sensitive by default

  • All communication is handled with professional confidentiality

We operate quietly and intentionally.

Independence & Objectivity

KazeTech is an independent advisory firm.

We do not:

  • Receive commissions for tools or services

  • Recommend vendors for financial incentive

  • Pressure clients into remediation or follow-on work

Our role is to provide clear analysis and perspective.

A Note on Responsibility

Exposure intelligence does not require alarmism to be effective.

Our philosophy is simple:

Awareness should empower.

Clients remain in control of what actions — if any — they choose to take after an assessment.
